TRC moved 80K (850 kg) liquid nitrogen tanks containing clinical trial samples from Cell Care. The samples aid research into cancer and related diseases.
• Initial relocation from the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre to a temporary site in Heatherton.
• Final destination is the Hudson Institute of Medical Research in Clayton, 18 months later.
• Each tank is handled with care by a specially trained expert team.
• Cell Care is Australia’s largest cord blood and tissue bank.
